A little about you:

Hello! I’m 28, female and work in accounts payable at DuluxGroup!

“To be honest, I didn’t realise how unfit I was! In my first month training at Boss, I think my body went into some weird shock. The sessions were so intense for me, but I loved it at the same time because I was literally pushed to my limits. Even after 2 years here I’m always super sweaty and the sessions still kill me!”

 I feel good coming in though, as I’ve made it part of my daily routine. I’ve come so far from my first session in terms of my fitness and strength, so I’m happy. I do enjoy challenging myself and Boss does that to me every day!

 

What motivates you to keep turning up and training?

I think its knowing that I’ll feel good after a session. I work in an office all day so it’s good to get some energy out. Even on a day where I’m feeling flat and completely blah, I’ll suck it up and go. I’m guaranteed to feel significantly better knowing I went, rather than just chilling at home.

I also think the food workshops Boss has throughout the year has educated me a lot with my progress. I LOVE my food, especially hot chips and literally anything sugary so the trainers have definitely helped me with showing me how to balance gym, good food choices majority of the week as well as feeding my addictions!

 

What advice would you give someone who is looking to start?

Just do it! I think the first step in starting in a new place anywhere is always the hardest. It can be a very daunting experience for a while but it’s worth it in the long run when you see how far you’ve come 😊
