Intorducing EveryBody Healthcare!
Hello Boss squad,
If I haven’t met you yet, my name is Max. I can be found suffering in the corner during morning sessions most days of the week.
Contrary to popular belief (thanks Mia) I’m not actually a chef, just an enthusiastic home cook. I am in fact an Osteopath, and have been working in the healthcare sector for roughly 10 years now.
I have worked both in the CBD as well as Bayside over this time and have only recently begun teaching at Victoria University, giving back to the course that gave me so much.
If you are new to Osteopathy, we use a range of hands on techniques (not limited to massage, stretching, movement techniques, manipulation and dry needling), coupled with specific rehab/mobility exercises to address a huge range of musculoskeletal complaints. Some common things that we may see are issues like neck and back pain, headaches, shoulder complaints, knee and hip issues, plantar fasciitis and many others.
The main principle of Osteopathy is that the body is a unit. Working with the body’s anatomy and getting to the root cause of the issue(s) means that we can create a better basis for the resolution of a complaint, and also decrease the possibility of future aggravations.
I’m really looking forward to working from the gym, and particularly having a collaborative space to work between the patient, myself and the fantastic trainers. This is something that I am really excited about as it provides the next level in patient care and rehabilitation.
Feel free to come chat to me whenever, I might just need a minute of two to catch my breath after any burpee based exercises.
Max
